Why the king james bible
There are many reasons for using the King James Bible. Please research.
Here are just some...
The King James Bible (KJB) contains ALL of Acts 8:37
and other verses omitted from most modern English versions, such as:
Matthew 17:21, 18:11, 23:14
Mark 7:16, 9:44, 9:46, 11:26, 15:28
Luke 17:36
John 5:3-4

The KJB is free to print and quote. You can, if you like, print out the entire King James Bible for free. For Bibles produced after 1881 (when the Revised Bible was introduced, paving the way for all other modern English Bibles), you need to pay a publishers fee if you want to quote a certain number of words or verses, typically over 1,000 verses and/or an entire book of the Bible.

Some versions leave part of a verse out eg John 6:47.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (Emphasis added) KJV
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. ESV

In Acts 3:26, the NKJV (New King James, and many others) calls Jesus God's "Servant." The KJV correctly calls Him God’s "Son."

1 Corinthians 1:18
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."
KJV
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." Emphasis added.
NKJV and most other modern translations.
Are we saved or is it a process?

Some Bible versions don't agree with each other, presenting a complete contradiction. For example Hosea 11:12.
Ephraim has surrounded me with lies,
Israel with deceit.
And Judah is unruly against God,
even against the faithful Holy One.
Hosea 11:12 NIV (emphasis added)
Ephraim has surrounded me with lies,
and the house of Israel with deceit,
but Judah still walks with God
and is faithful to the Holy One.
Hosea 11:12 ESV (emphasis added)
Which is the true word of God? They cannot both be right.

Most modern Bibles have footnotes. These can cast doubt on certain verses or give an opinion. Most King James Bibles don't contain footnotes. We recommend ones that don't.

For a publishing company to obtain a copyright on a Bible, changes have to be made. If the Bible is the Word of God and without error, which version does it apply to? By definition, it cannot apply to them all.
______________________________________________________
Many say that it was only the original manuscripts that were the pure words of God. If that is the case, then where is the preserved Word of God for us to access today that He promises for all time? What is your final authority?
